Mines Express Privacy Policy — how we keep your information

Keeping your personal data safe on mines is our responsibility. This policy clearly outlines what data is collected, why it is collected, and what rights you have.

Our Core Privacy Commitment

The six core principles mines follows to protect your data

Your Data Is Never Sold to Third Parties

Mines never sells or rents your personal data. Your name, number, and transaction details are used solely for platform purposes.

SSL Encryption Across the Board

Only Necessary Data Is Collected

Mines only collects the information that is genuinely needed to deliver its services and ensure security. Nothing beyond that is collected.

Mines staff also have limited access to your data — only those who need it for their specific role can view the relevant information.

Right to Erasure

You may request that your data be deleted. Unless there is a legal or regulatory obligation to retain it, mines will honor that request.

Prompt Breach Notification

In the event of a data security breach, mines will notify affected players as quickly as possible and take immediate steps to resolve the issue.

The mines Express Privacy Policy is written with Bangladeshi players in mind — in plain language, straight to the point. We've kept the legal jargon to a minimum so you can actually read and understand it.

Mines uses the data it collects only for specific purposes. Those purposes are clearly stated below — no ambiguity.

  • To create and manage your account — so we can identify you and provide our services.

  • To prevent fraud and money laundering — and to keep your account and the platform secure.
  • To provide customer support — so we can resolve any issues you encounter.

mines never sells your data to advertising companies or data brokers.
3

Who Your Information May Be Shared With

Mines does not generally share your information with anyone else. However, in certain specific situations, sharing with specific parties is necessary — those situations are clearly set out below.

  • Payment Providers: Necessary information is shared to verify transactions made through bKash, Nagad, or Rocket.
  • Game Provider Studio: Studios like PG Soft, Evolution, and Jili receive limited data solely to run their games.
  • Security Services: Third-party fraud detection software may analyze certain usage data.
  • Legal Authorities: Data may be disclosed in response to a government order or court directive.
  • Regulatory Authority: Certain information must be provided in accordance with licensing authority requirements.
Beyond the parties listed above, mines does not share your data with anyone else — no advertisers, data companies, or any other commercial purpose.
4

Data Storage & Security Practices

Mines stores your data in secure data centers with multiple layers of protection. It's not just encryption — physical security, access controls, and regular security audits are all part of the process.

Financial information is kept under especially strict protection — no mines employee can view your full bKash or Nagad number; only the last few digits are visible.

  • Data for active accounts is retained for as long as the account remains active.
  • Even after account closure, data may be retained for up to 5 years for legal compliance purposes.
  • Transaction records must be retained long-term as required by regulatory authorities.
  • Support chat logs may be used for analysis to improve service quality.
Once the data retention period expires, mines securely deletes that data — old records are not kept indefinitely.

How mines Protects Your Data

Data protection is not just a matter of technology — it is also a matter of policy. mines treats both equally. The same level of security used by international banks to protect transactions worth hundreds of crores of BDT is the standard mines applies.

That said, technology has its limits. Often the greatest risk comes not from systems but from people. That is why mines staff receive regular data security training and strictly follow a limited-access policy.

There are steps you can take on your end as well. Use a strong password, keep two-factor authentication enabled, and always log out after using an unfamiliar device. mines takes responsibility for your account security, but that responsibility is limited if you share your password with others.

Security Layers
  • 256-bit SSL/TLS Encryption
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
  • Automatic Alerts for Suspicious Logins
  • Regular Third-Party Security Audits

Privacy FAQs

Common Player Questions About Accounts & Settings

Yes, mines supports language switching within the interface. You'll find the language option at the top of the website or in Account Settings — from there you can switch between Bengali and English. On the mobile app, go to the Settings icon and select the Language option. The change takes effect immediately and your preference is saved, so you won't need to switch again each time you log in. Keep in mind that instructions for some games may appear in the language of the game provider's studio — this is outside mines' control. The main platform, menus, deposit and withdrawal process, and support are all available in Bengali.

Changing your mobile number cannot be done directly from Account Settings — for security reasons, this change must go through Support. Start by going to mines Live Chat and submitting a number change request. Support will send an OTP to your current number for verification — if you no longer have access to the old number, KYC verification will be required, meaning you'll need to submit a photo of your National ID or passport. Once your identity is confirmed, the new number will be linked to your account. Keep in mind that the new number must not already be associated with another mines account. The entire process typically takes within 24 hours. The same procedure applies for changing your name or email address.
